First Time Buyer

As a previous first time home buyer, my advice to you is simple: Do not panic. Do your research (or let me do it for you), know your goals, and most importantly, have fun!! Owning a home is an AWESOME opportunity and if you've put in the hard work of saving up and establishing good credit, don't let nerves or overwhelm stifle you from making one of the best decisions you'll ever make: home ownership and experiencing equity gains.

Before I bought my home I swore I would rent forever. Looking back, I realize that I threw away a lot of hard earned money and value. Not only was I paying the mortgage for another owner, but I was building their equity, possibly funding their retirement and missing out on funding my own future.... not to mention missing out on tremendous equity gains.
